We are a gospel driven community of believers in Grandview, West Virginia. Our mission is the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20) As disciples of Christ, following the Great Commission literally means to engage and impact the world around us starting with the Grandview area and reaching into all of the world. We do this through volunteering and supporting local, national, and international missions. The gospel, discipleship, and service are at the heart of all we do.
When you come to First Southern Baptist Church of Grandview it is our hope and prayer that you come to see and know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our desire is to be a place where God’s presence is experienced and where everyone interested in learning more about God’s Mercy and Grace can come together with us to worship, learn, and grow spiritually.

Meet our Pastors
Richard Carbaugh has served as pastor for 23 years at First Southern Baptist Church of Grandview (“FSBCG”). In 1994, he graduated from Appalachian Bible College with a degree Biblical Studies and completed his Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2014.
Michael French the Youth Pastor and the Young Adult Bible Study Teacher at FSBCG. Michael is currently pursuing a Masters in Divinity through Liberty University, Rawlings School of Divinity (Online) with a focus on theology.
