Vacation Bible School at First Southern Baptist Church of Grandview is only 12 days away! This years theme is Journey off the Map! We invite you to take your kids to uncharted territory where they will begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them beyond the unexpected. So toss the map, stick close to your guide and prepare to listen to God’s direction in this journey that is unknown to us, but known to Him.
While exploring uncharted territory during our Journey off the Map, kids will discover that Jesus is the Ultimate Guide. They will learn that, even when faced with the unexpected, they can know how to listen for God’s direction.
The theme verse for this week is Isaiah 30:21, “And whenever you turn to the right or the left your ears will hear this command behind you, ‘This is the way. Walk in it’ “. Our 2015 VBS motto is the command from this verse: This is the way. Walk in it.
Each day the kids will discover more truths about Jesus as their guide. Day 1: Know Your Guide; Day 2: Follow Your Guide; Day 3: Trust Your Guide; Day 4: Stay on Track; Day 5: Keep Watching

Ages/Classes: Preschool – 3 (potty trained)- 5 years olds, 1st & 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th Grade, and Preteens
Our Family Fun Night is Friday, July 10 starting at 6:00 pm. We invite all of our community members to come and celebrate with us! We will have Sno-Cones, Cotton Candy, Carnival Games, Bouncy House, Fire Truck, Water Games, and More!
